Q&A with LUKE from DREAM OF LIBERTY

Luke is the drummer of the european band Dream of Liberty. He really likes to surf..

Jeff: Are there any special plans for the future with Dream of Liberty? Do you think about going through europe or US?

Luke: We wanna record a new 7 track EP this year with a new video, design. ect..
A US tour would be great but at first we will try to get some shows around and in Austria...haha.

Jeff: When was DoL founded and was this your first band? Or have you played in millions of bands before?

Luke: DoL was founded 2007 and it was my first band. I also play in a 2nd band with some local musicians from other bands (it's kinda like 30 Sec. to mars and an AVA mix ...be prepared).

Jeff: What is for you the best on being musician or in your case a band's drummer?

Luke: The best of being drummer?!...Of course the drums haha. The feeling when you're on stage and people are singing your songs and rockin' the crowd, there is nothing better in this world (except surfing.. haha)

Jeff: Los Angeles or Vienna which city do you prefer?

Luke: Of course LA... my plan is to move to the States or Australia one day..(hope it will work!).
My hometown Klagenfurt (South Austria) is also called “Klagifornia” haha.

Jeff: How would you describe Dream of Liberty's sound in 5 words?

Luke: Uff 5 words..that’s hard: Sounds you will not forget.

Jeff: SEX, DRUGS & ROCK'N'ROLL ;-)?

Luke: Yeah sure....life fast die youg! Nawh beer is missing in this sentence!

Jeff: Where can american fans order your merch?

Luke: It's hard to order merch from an european local band but if they sent us a mail (dreamofliberty@gmx.at) we will do what we can to sent you shirts or a CD :-)
